Thermal Imaging Roof Inspections Increasingly Requested
Infrared inspections and surveys are increasingly requested for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. These inspections utilize the same technology found in military, aerospace, and medical applications. Infrared thermal inspections have helped home owners, home buyers, real estate investors, commercial properties, commercial management firms, residential properties, industrial preventive maintenance, building management firms, maintenance teams, general contractors, renovators, home inspectors, real estate specialists, home builders, and home improvement specialists. Thermal Infrared Inspections are becoming increasingly prevalent in the Georgia region due to our climate and seasonal conditions. At some point in time, we all become affected by high energy costs, heavy rains, and periodic flooding if we live in west central or Dayton Ohio. Infrared Inspection Technology can assist with these environmental and building concerns and greatly reduce damage and repair costs associated with them.
Energy Star Tax Breaks for Roofing
Americans spend about $40 billion annually to air condition buildings - sixth of all electricity generated in this country. ENERGY STAR qualified roof products reflect more of the sun's rays. This can lower roof surface temperature by up to 100F, decreasing the amount of heat transferred into a building. ENERGY STAR qualified roof products can help reduce the amount of air conditioning needed in buildings, and can reduce peak cooling demand by 10-15 percent. During building design and when your existing roof needs replacement are both excellent times to consider reflective roofing.
